Team Kenetrek,

I thought I would share a photo of my Bull Elk that I harvested on my Wyoming October hunt. I was told that the weather could be unpredictable. I needed good boots. A month earlier I was visiting my son in Iowa City, Iowa and visited a Scheels store and tried on several brands of boots and the associate strongly recommended Kenetrek's. I was impressed with your confidence that your boots will last so long that you have a boot rebuild policy to return the boots to original condition. Over the years in the field, I have come to learn that you cannot compromise quality and you will pay more for it. I purchased a pair of your Kenetrek Hunter Extremes 400 and thought I would have to "break" them in but was shocked that they were field ready.

Back to my Wyoming hunt ... Weather was not very cooperative on our hunt as we were camped at 9000+ foot elevation. Winds were 30 to 40 MPH driving rain into snow horizontally. As I sat in sub-freezing weather I was very comfortable because my feet were warm. I glassed this incredible bull up at 2 miles away with 21 cows. I grabbed my gun and made my move and my Kenetrek's traction in very rough terrain, made the hike a breeze. I took the shot at 386 yards and the bull disappeared in the trees. After an hour wait I tracked the bull down only 100 yards away from where I shot the bull. As I approached him I could not believe how big the bull was and clearly the biggest Bull Elk I have ever taken. I wore my Kenetrek's the entire trip and recently wore them during the spring on my Turkey hunt at 8000 to 9000 feet as I covered 8-10 miles a day up and down mountains every day. After every hunt I clean them and treat them with your Kenetrek Waterproofing Boot Waxto maintain like new condition.

I just purchased my second pair of Kenetrek Boots in August.
I chose the Kenetrek Hardscrabble Hiking boots at a Scheels in Sandy Utah
during a recent trip to Utah. They will be a welcome addition to my hunting

Thanks for making such a great product. ... Jeff
